A handwritten note was found in the prayer book, see photo. I have no way of confirming this, further research is needed. A brief search was conducted and no information was found on Rev. Warr. It is also noted that the info relates to a Chapel known as St Johns and does not refer to St John’s Cathedral. The leather bound Common Prayer book is quite large, measures 22cms x 14cms when closed. Some foxing throughout, spine and covers in tact. An interesting piece !!
