2 x WW1 ? THIN METAL VEHICLE INSTRUCTION / ID PLATES


Ex military collection, so assuming they are WW1 related but have no way of confirming that. The large plate says Patented 1917, 10.5cms x 8.3cms, based on the wording it's oil related. The smaller plate is very worn but reads BODYWORK BY G.H. Olding & Sons Ltd, Sydney. Based on research the company was founded in 1906 & made military equipment & armaments during WW1. Measures 10.4cms x 4cms.
