The U50 delivers Sinn's renowned durability and legibility in a 41 mm case diameter, designed for slimmer wrist sizes.

Visually, Sinn's diver's watches are recognised by their clear designs, matt black dials and displays that concentrate on the essentials. When it comes to features, the focus consistently returns to typical SINN characteristics.

Both case and crown are made of high-strength, seawater-resistant, German Submarine steel. This type of steel is known for its extremely high strength and exceptional non-magnetic properties, as well as its excellent resilience in seawater.

As with all Sinn diving watches, the rotating bezel is captive within the case to withstand accidental tampering. Because bezels are notoriously subject to exposure and can experience high levels of stress during use, Sinn has taken the additional step to harden the bezel surface using its TEGIMENT Technology. The result provides a robust, scratch-resistant, edge to give added protection for the case.

These features ensure the U50 is perfectly suited to diving use - a fact that has been verified by the classification company DNV GL (international registrar and classification society for professional diving equipment). DNV GL verifies and certifies pressure resistance to a diving depth of 500 metres (= 50 bar) and temperature resistance and functionality in accordance with the European diving equipment standards.

The addition of a tegiment coating on the case and black, hardened bezel offers the optimal level of protection for your time piece.
