Ancient Byzantine Copper Alloy 9th - 12th Century Cross & Leather Thong

Ancient Byzantine copper alloy cross thought to be from 9th -12th century. Similar crosses were identified from Europe, the exact location and time period is unknown. Over time the copper alloy has taken on a deep green / black patina. To each side of the cross are smaller crosses totalling 9 crosses in total. This cross has no other identifying marks or stamps. It comes with a brown leather thong. The cross is really cool and has such a history, if only it could tell us of its adventures.
