This superb solid silver ladle was made in 1827 by Conrad Thulin in Kristianstadt, Sweden. The antique ladle is in amazing condition for its age and still has the gold wash intact inside the ladle. The ladle has been left with the aged patina to the silver, though it could be polished up to sparkling silver by the owner if they preferred. The minimum silver content is .800 and the ladle is stamped with V3 for the year 1827, CT for Conrad Thulin and C with a crown for the town of Kristianstadt. There is also a stamp to the base of the ladle of a calligraphed J.H. The classic modernistic look of this ladle is very typical of Scandinavian design, it makes the piece timeless. This ladle is totally functional or would be a beautiful item to add to your collection.
