Antique 9ct Gold & Enamel Maltese Cross FLT Odd Fellows Eye Fob Pendant 8.4g

Unique Antique 9 carat yellow gold Maltese cross pendant with Odd Fellows symbols picked out in enamel. To the top of the cross sits a suit of armour helmet with mythical winged griffin at the very top. This detailed pendant fob showcases stunning craftsmanship in the quality of the piece. The letter 'F L T' are picked out in rich enamel and stand for Friendship, Love and Trust. To the rear of the piece is the all-seeing eye in the centre of the blazing sun. This symbolises the blessings of God are on all of the people of the earth.

The creed of the Odd Fellows is a belief in the Universal Brotherhood of man and the fatherhood of God. Despite this Odd Fellowship is non-partisan, non-sectarian and is welcoming to all people, all religions, races, genders, sexual orientation and national origins.

This particular pendant fob was made in America in the early 19th century. Although not hallmarked it laser tested as 9 carat yellow gold. It presents in good used condition and would be a great pendant to wear with two ways to wear. It is a good solid well made treasure from the past.
