Antique Victorian Gold Plated Curb Style Chain & Decorative Opal Set Slider 64cm

Beautiful, antique plated gold curb style chain with decorative slider set with tiny opal and seed pearls. One of the seed pearls is missing but it is not very noticeable. Over the years the chain on a lovely warm, rosy gold patina. When fastened the chain could be worn as necklace or used as an extra long fob chain. The Albert clasp is stamped with W&S.B and a star, making this particular chain an early American produced chain. As the company W&S. Blackinton Co. was founded by two brothers in Meriden, CT back in 1865. This antique chain presents really well and will be a great companion to any Victorian / Antique jewellery collection.
