Artisan Design Sterling Silver Copper Inlaid Amethyst & Sugilite Necklace 40.3g

This artisan crafted, one-off pendant is extraordinary, the visual presence of the design is very dramatic, it really draws you in. The combination of techniques used, shows great skill and precision. The artisan has moulded sterling silver with copper inlaid, then fused them together, using reticulation technique. Unfortunately, the artist has not signed their work and although not hallmarked, tests as sterling silver with copper inclusions. The snake chain is stamped 925.

This stunning backdrop is framed within a sterling silver frame, further enhanced with a bezel set amethyst cabochon to one side. This beautiful piece is reversible and can be worn either side as it is equally stunning. There is a bright purple sugilite gem suspended from a prong to the bottom of the piece. A delightful, sterling silver snake chain completes the pendant and it is long enough to just throw over your head. An exemplary piece of handmade, unique, artisan jewellery.
