Produced for Edwin Carton Booth’s publication “Australia In The 1870s” with illustrations done by Chavalier, Prout, Armytage etc. This book provided a fascinating insight into Colonial Australia in the 1870s.
 
The image size is 18cms x 12.5cms, with the overall page size 26.5cms x 21cms. The rear is blank. Some minor marks & foxing to the outer white margin, otherwise nice condition. Note, the engraving was produced on an angle, see 3rd photo. Would look great framed.
