Right at the bottom of the poster the names Ship Co, NZ and Burns Philp & Co Ltd can be seen. Also the wording Canadian - Australasian Royal Mail Line. This obviously is the Australian / New Zealand connection to the poster. The poster would have been displayed behind glass at major railway stations, shipping ports & in company offices & shipping offices.
Despite its condition, it’s a very rare poster. Recently professionally restored to the state you see in the photo’s, it was in extremely poor condition. Missing numerous sections to the edges. The poster is made of thick cardboard & in it’s current state measures 52cms x 80cms. It has been temporarily attached to cardboard backing. It’s in delicate condition / state, with local Brisbane pickup preferred in an endeavour to minimise any further damage.
