Georgian 14ct Yellow Gold Miniature Painted Portrait Mourning Pendant 28.7g

Beautiful, antique 14 carat yellow gold framed painted portrait of a distinguished gentleman from around the 1780's - 1800's. The hand painted portrait of the gentleman is very fine. The portrait shows the gentleman wearing full evening attire, complete with black bow tie, waistcoat and refined overcoat. The gentleman looks very wealthy and suave, posing with a neutral, refrained expression. The frame in 14 carat gold seals the rear of the piece.

The frame being only quite fine has taken on a few small knocks over time, as is to be expected for an antique piece. The small dents do not distract from the fineness of the pendant as a whole. The portrait is in in perfect condition behind the glass. This fine antique pendant will be a great piece to add to your collection.
