A delightful Chinese green jade medallion with a rotating centre that has been intricately carved out of one piece. The disc has been turned into a pendant at some stage and fitted with an open style bale. The top of the bale is stamped with 14k. The carving is very skilful, creatring a rotating centre within the same piece of stone. The design of the carved stone section is like a series of infinity symbols all interlocking. The actual jade or jadeite is a light sage green, semi opaque with darker green inclusions to one area of the medallion. The provenance of the piece is unknown but it is believed to be Chinese and is certainly vintage if not older.
