Description

A large early 1900s Australiana autograph book profusely illustrated with watercolour paintings, pencil & pen and ink drawings. The first entry appears to be 1908 & the last 1912. The total number of pages with written commentary or illustrations is 63. Within that 63 pages there are a total of 18 pages with art / drawings. The album is quite large, far bigger than the normal pocket size version, it measures 23cms x 17.5cms. Several pages are loose, outer covers are quite good. A large percentage of people that signed the album came from Tenterfield, NSW. The album is far from full, but the quantity & quality of art makes up for that. No history is known about the item.
