Delightful pair of vintage sterling silver cameo brooches made form carnelian and sardonyx shell cameos. The larger cameo is a carnelian shell set into a victorian style open framework setting and has taken on a lovely dark silver patina. The second cameo is also a brooch and a pendant and has been gold plated over sterling silver. The plate has worn away slightly but the cameo has taken on an lovely antique look. The carving of the lady portrait is really detailed and beautiful. Both cameos are hallmarked Sterling or 925. Great pair of cameos to collect or gift as presents.
