Rare 1720 George I Sterling Silver Toddy Ladle with Embedded 1720 Shilling.
An English Toddy ladle featuring a KGI embedded shilling for weight, fitted with a sterling silver bowl, which is interestingly not hallmarked, also unhallmarked silver fittings with an aged twisted bone handle capped with a sterling silver tip. The rim features neatly scrolled initials possibly ET. 32cms long, some denting to the bowl, handle is slightly wobbly. Overall considering its over 300 years old, in very good condition.
