On offer is a large English bookplate engraving by William Hogarth from the Industry & Idleness series, taken / printed off the original 1700s plates. This was the last series produced from the original plates in 1822 by Heath. Paper size is 45cms x 33cms. Recently professionally restored but still shows traces of stains to the left margin. The rear is blank.

The engraving is entitled   The INDUSTRIOUS ‘PRENTICE Lord-Mayor of London.   It is Plate 12 in the series.
