RARE 1879 Australian Steam Ship Patent #2653 "Improvements in Steam Vessels"

On offer is a rare patent, No. 2653 lodged in Victoria, Australia on the 06/06/1879 by Robert Wilcox, St Kilda, Melbourne for "Improvements in Steam Vessels" The lot includes a large Photo lithograph of original drawings and a complete half page wording details . It is understood that these patents were issued as loose sheets as periodicals by the Victorian Government to Lawyers and Institutions with an end result of compiling patents for the calendar year. The drawing sheet is 43cms x 27cms when unfolded & the page 27cms x 20cms.
