RARE 1880 Singer Sewing Machines Aust. Patent #2776 "Improvements in Machines"

On offer is a rare patent, No. 2776 lodged in Victoria, Australia on the 20/01/1880 by Alexander Anderson, manager of the Singer Manufacturing Company's Works, Glasgow for "Improvements in Sewing Machines" The lot includes a large Photo lithograph of original drawings and complete patent wording details. It is understood that these patents were issued as loose sheets as periodicals by the Victorian Government to Lawyers and Institutions with an end result of compiling patents for the calendar year. The drawing sheet is 43cms x 27cms when unfolded & the page 27cms x 20cms.
