RARE 1881 Count Apraxine Aust. Patent #3063 "Improvement in Aerial Balloons"

On offer is a rare patent, No. 3063 lodged in Victoria, Australia on the 25/08/1881 by Count Antoine Apraxine, Russia for "Improvements in Aerial Balloons" The lot includes a large Photo lithograph of original drawings and the complete patent wording. It is understood that these patents were issued as loose sheets as periodicals by the Victorian Government to Lawyers and Institutions with an end result of compiling patents for the calendar year. Also noted is that an unrelated patent No. 3074 lodged by an unknown person is included in the lot as it forms part of the page which includes the Balloon patent. The drawing sheet is 43cms x 27cms when unfolded & the page 27cms x 20cms.
