This beautiful vintage turquoise ring by Michael Rogers of the Inyo Paiute tribe, is just stunning. The turquoise is such a lovely colour with faint turquoise webbing through the face of the stone. Michael has signed this ring 'Michael Rogers' in handwritten script, stamped with PAIUTE, HANDMADE MICHAEL ROGERS and sterling. The inside of the ring shank is also stamped with Michael Rogers. Michael was privileged to exhibit his jewellery art at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. in 1992 at the Smithsonian Institution. This was due to his jewellery art being considered as exceptional, contemporary fine works of art of the highest caliber. The turquoise is smooth bezel set in a  braided setting. The inside of the band is signed PAIUTE ROGERS STERLING.  The back of the head is stamped with the Michael Rogers jackrabbit mark, and there's a hand scribed signature, Mike Rogers.  The ring is in excellent vintage condition and would be a fabulous piece to collect.
