Sterling Silver Mid Century Attributed to 'Los Castillo' Segmented Bracelet 185.8g

Beautiful, sculptural and well designed sterling silver runs through the veins of the renowned Mexican Castillo family. Famed Taxco jeweller Antonio Castillo, was the founding father of the Los Castillo workshop. Los Castillo as it became known had a huge impact on the development of Taxco jewellery in the 1940's and 1950s. The family legacy continues with Antonio's sons, daughter and other family members, creating artistically designed jewellery, still to this day.

This stunning example of the Los Castillo jewellery, features geometric, graduating segments, hinged together with a concealed secure box clasp closure. Signed faintly 925 and Mexico. The sculptural bracelet is in great vintage condition with one previous and very careful owner. It will be a joy to wear and a fantastic piece to collect.
