Beautiful handmade sterling silver and stunning high quality fresh water pearl necklace. This delightful necklace was made by Tiffany and Co for their flagship brand 'Iridesse' founded in 2004. The name Iridesse was inspired by the amazing iridescence and play of colour found in pearls. The focus was on quality pearls and exclusive setting to showcase the the magical and alluring beauty of pearls. Unfortunately, the global economy could not support the new enterprise and Tiffany was forced to close all its Iridesse outlets in 2009.
This necklace though a vintage piece has been carefully stored and presents like new. The superb workmanship is a sheer delight and the pearls are all very good quality, with a perfect lustre and light cream tone. The chain can be made smaller or fully extended with the sterling silver chain and a single pearl accent can be seen from the back. The necklace is stamped with 925 and the brand name Iridesse. The pearl necklace is presented in the original leather and suede case. A gorgeous classic style necklace and a a fabulous vintage find. Would be a perfect bridal necklace or gift for someone special.
