Large vintage dutch silver fruit bowl or bread dish originating from 1951 and made from .833 silver. The bowl has a pierced out design feature all the way around the bowl as well as intricate swirls also pierced out near the handles . The bowl is stamped to the rear with a lion passant facing to the right with a key donating the minimum silver content to be .833. Also the minerva stamp with an A on the head, this item was made in Amsterdam for export. There is also a AP3 stamp which is the makers mark but unfortunately, the actual maker cannot be found. The other mark on the base is an Q in a circle and this dates the piece to 1951. Its a great piece and in great condition for its age. The bowl would make a perfect fruit bowl or bread basket for the table or just to enjoy as a decorative piece.
