Vintage 1960s Mid Century Joseph Warner Sparkling Red & Green Strawberry Brooch

Stunning, collectable, sparkling strawberry brooch by esteemed American Mid Century designer Joseph Warner. The brooch dates to around the late 1950's to early 1960's. The brooch mountings and prongs are japanned, a term to describe the application of darkening the metal to a black or very dark grey hue. The rear of the brooch is stamped WARNER to the top leaf section. The overall condition of the brooch is excellent and all the rhinestones are intact. The faceted prong set deep red stones for the berries and emerald green marquise leaves are really sparkly. Joseph Warner's pieces are becoming more and more collectable and this brooch would be an ideal piece to add to your collection.
