Vintage Articulated Sterling Silver & Turquoise Eyes Filigree Fish Pendant Fob

This is an exceptional piece of finely made jewellery that would delight any vintage jewellery enthusiast. The gold wash over the body of the fish really adds to its timeless appeal. The reticulation is very clever and the pendant has been very carefully crafted in sterling silver with a gold wash overlay. The filigree detail is really intricate with fine scale details and sweet little filigree fins. Gorgeous baby blue turquoise cabochon eyes further enhance this stunning pendant fob. The mouth opens to reveal the internal working of the fish and is stamped Sterling.

This particular fish is attached to a gold plated, sterling silver fob chain. Hallmarked F.W.C (Frank William Cole), a lion rampant quality stamp and the letter b for the year 1901.These delightful pieces were made around the 1920's by Chinese artisans and are very collectable.
