Beautiful hand painted miniature portrait of a lady decorated with diamanté accents and framed in a stunning 18 carat yellow gold frame. Dating to around the 1950's this pendant and brooch combination piece, made in Italy, was likely a Grand Tour souvenir from a lucky traveller spending a sojourn in Italy. The centrepiece of this delightful piece is the hand painted celluloid print, with exquisite detail and luxurious applied diamanté necklace, earrings and hair decorations. The pendant or brooch is in excellent vintage condition. The rear of the bale is stamped 750 and 269 AL for Alessandria, Italy. What a fantastic piece to add to your collection.
