Vintage Jorgen Jensen Pewter #211 Curb Chain Bangle Bracelet 44.3g

This very stylish, modernistic, hand forged bangle is made by Danish designer Jorgen Jensen. The bangle is made in oxidised pewter and features a bold curb chain design. The chain section is secured each side with smooth sturdy rings. This solidly formed piece was created in the 1960's, it represents a a strong influence of Danish Design aesthetics. Signed to the rear Jorgen Jensen, Denmark, 211. The stunning bangle has been hand cleaned and presents well in original condition with signs of use commensurate with age. You can see the slight scratches and dents to the edges of the bangle in the photos, nothing to distract from the beauty of the bangle though.

Jorgen Jensen is the son of esteemed jeweller and silversmith Georg Jensen. Jorgen favoured the use of pewter for his inspiring jewellery collections, though he trained formally in the production of silver and hollowware.
