Vintage Mexican Sterling Double Sided Pendant Inlaid Turquoise & Abalone 23.6g

Beautiful, vintage, reversible sterling silver pendant, handmade in Mexico. One side features an Aztec / Mayan calendar scene and is inlaid with abalone shell and black resin. To the other side is a traditional scene with a little figure paddling a canoe with crushed turquoise sea and abalone landscape. The double sided piece is versatile and magnificent. The careful and precise workmanship is a delight. Stamped to the top of the bale with 925 and sterling.
