Vintage Sterling Silver Perfume 'Atomette' Attributed to Georg Jensen 1940's 26g

Beautiful sterling silver and bakelite, finely made perfume atomiser attributed to Georg Jensen. The rear of the case is stamped with sterling with 'Atomette' patent pending. This was produced before the patent had been issued and was possibly one of Jensens earlier works. Later versions were signed and were half bakelite, often with just a sterling silver lid. This particular example is in great condition and the bakelite is intact without any cracks. The glass vial is stained with remnants of old perfume, though is in otherwise fantastic condition. To the lid is a beautiful orchid or iris flower in a naturalistic style. There is no doubt this is a quality made item. This will be a fabulous piece to add to your perfume collection.
