Vtg Double Sided Jade 寿 Shòu Crane Tree Design Pendant with Rubies & Sapphires

Absolutely stunning, vintage 14 carat yellow gold and jade two sided pendant. To one side is the symbol for longevity 寿 picked out in gold. To the other side is a beautiful scene all in gold of cranes, trees and traditional houses. Each crane bird has ruby eyes with apple green jade gems and the leaves of the trees are decorated with rubies and sapphires, along with a single emerald gem. Around the setting is a fluted edge bezel and the jade is claw set securely. Over time the gold has taken on an aged patina, the whole scene is mesmerising. A couple of gemstones are missing. This versatile statement piece is well made and will be a definite talking point wherever you adventure. Stamped to the top part of the bale with 14k and 585.
