Wolmar Castillo Sterling Silver Mid Century Graduating Sculptural Necklace 220g
Beautiful, sculptural and well designed sterling silver runs through the veins of the renowned Mexican Castillo family. Wolmar Castillo is the son of famed Taxco jeweller Antonio Castillo, who was the founding father of the Los Castillo workshop. Los Castillo as it became known had a huge impact on the development of Taxco jewellery in the 1940's and 1950s. Wolmar continues this legacy along with other family members, creating precious metal artistically designed jewellery and small sculptures.
This stunning example of his work features geometric, graduating segments Strung on slightly stretchy thread with a concealed secure box clasp closure. Signed with Wolmar Castillo makers stamp, Taxco, 925 and Mexico. The Necklace is in great vintage condition with one previous and very careful owner. It will be a joy to wear and a fantastic piece to collect.
